As the world's smallest 270W GaN charger capable of charging four devices at the same time this truly is a game changer. Zeus will launch at 8am PST on the 8th November on Kickstarter and the 60 day campaign will conclude on the 7th January. The rewards for Zeus 270W, which will be available in white, start at $109/£96 with the full RRP being $219/£193 after the campaign concludes. Shipping is expected to be in May 2023.
Each of the Zeus chargers is unique, in that it utilizes four of the industry leading Navitas GaNFast NV6127 Power ICs which miniaturizes silicon components found in traditional chargers. Gallium Nitride (GaN) is a semiconductor material that replaces traditional silicon-based power adapters allowing for higher efficiency, for less heat and the ability to handle a higher current. GaN IC’s are over 10 times smaller than traditional IC’s.
The Zeus is also the smallest 270W charger available on the market and is 45% lighter than industry leaders at only 320g/0.7lb. This compares favorably with competitors such as the Hyperjuice 245W charger, which although less powerful, weighs in at 582g (1.28lb). Zeus is capable of quick charging a laptop (MacBook Pro), a tablet (iPad Pro), smartphone (iPhone), and mobile devices [AirPods/Apple watch] simultaneously. It includes 3 USB-C ports, compatible with the latest Macbook Pro 16” (140W) and one USB-A port.
